Hinduja Group to invest $10 billion in infrastructure projects.

Industrialist G P Hinduja on Monday revealed plans to invest up to $10 billion in the country to finance and complete the construction of major infrastructure projects. According to the co-chairman of Hinduja Group , Britain could encourage some of its companies to finance and complete the construction of the hung power and infrastructure projects in the country for which Hindujas are willing to invest $10 billion. Nagpur 24x7: Pathfinder approach in Urban Water Management

In a city where 30% of the houses do not have tap water supply and almost half the houses which get tap water are not charged, the project aims to offer 24x7 supply to all households. It also plans to decrease the non-revenue houses to under 20% in five years.  All Indian cities face the challenge of providing 24x7 water supply to its citizens.
